This is your opportunity to get your work peer reviewed and published!
Hey CTS students!
CTRL+ALT+DH is an open-source, student-led, student-oriented journal created by Culture and Technology Studies students at The University of Guelph. This journal provides an opportunity for students to get their work published, without the enormous costs and hassles traditionally affiliated with journal publishing.
We are now accepting submissions for our very first issue coming out at the end of the 2023 Fall semester. This year's theme is Pop-Culture in the post-2000’s age.
We want to know how modern culture, films, music, sports, TV shows, and more shaped this generation. If you have any previous or new pieces of work, then submit them our way! We are accepting a wide variety of work from essays, videos, twine games, and everything in between.
Join the movement on creating a more accessible, open-source academic path. The benefits of submitting are:
Getting your work digitally published and in front of more eyes
Receiving feedback from peer-reviewers
Having your work digitally archived for you to point to
Be recognized as a pioneer in an accessible, open-source community
It’s more important than ever to be involved and submit your work, so start here:
